Paradise Beach is where nude sunbathing is all the rage. Kalafatis beach, with its string of trees that provide welcome shade, is a good spot for families to spend a day, with enough breeze to keep cool, or even to try windsurfing.
On Mykonos beaches, there are plenty of taverns and eateries, or you can pack a lunch, stake a spot to plant a beach umbrella, and do nothing. In the evening, enjoy the sunset from your private patio, or head into town to party until dawn.

There are numerous luxury hotels in Mykonos, and many offer villa rentals with up to six or more bedrooms, as well as upscale rooms in resort surroundings. You can find 5 star hotels in the bustling harbor village of Mykonos Town, as well as in other villages on the island's more remote coasts. Each of. fers a unique brand of luxury, and extraordinary service
Some of the most popular resorts on the island include Bill & Coo Suites and Lounge; the luxury resort collection of Santa Marina; Kensho, with villas in Ornos and Psarrou; Cavotagoo, Myconian Korali, Grace Mykonos, and Mykonos Grand Hotel and Resort.
While each luxury hotel or 5-Star Resort has a unique personality and a wealth of attractions, the truth is that not everyone is attracted by the same amenities. Staying at a resort provides an opportunity to enjoy unparalleled comfort, fine food and drink, a variety of activities and a tantalizing daily routine. Privacy is assured and you'll enjoy extraordinary service at any one of the fine resort properties on Mykonos.
However, if you're traveling with friends or a large family group, a private luxury villa offers additional privacy with a bit more scheduling flexibility and personal convenience. WIMCO vacation specialists can arrange for a private chef and housekeeping staff and arrange island transportation, even a chauffeur. We'll be happy to book reservations at clubs and restaurants, plan local excursions, or leave you to your own devices to enjoy a vacation in your own way.
We'll arrange for transportation and luggage handling from your home to Mykonos, and help you settle in to the vacation experience of a lifetime, with an offer to stock the refrigerator at your villa with your favorite food and wines!

Winters are generally mild, but temperatures may dip into the 50s, and the water is often considered too chilly for swimming. Although there may be no bad time to visit Mykonos and Santorini, another fabled Greek island destination, many tourists prefer September and October, when crowds tend to thin, and the water is still warm.
Spring is also popular. June, July and August attract the summer crowds, and that is exactly why many people choose to visit at that time. If relaxation is your primary goal, try the spring or fall seasons.
